Heinkel He 111 - Cobi WW2
Heinkel He 111 - Cobi WW2
The Heinkel He 111 was a basic medium bomber of the German Luftwaffe and was used in the initial phase of World War II. It became one of the most characteristic machines in the Battle of Britain. It was designed long before the war as a passenger plane that was supposed to have better performance thanks to its elliptical wings. Numerous Heinkel versions were used on almost all fronts during World War II, mainly as strategic bomber, but also to a lesser degree as a torpedo bomber and transport aircraft.
The block model of the Heinkel from COBI features an easy-to-open pilots cockpit, rotating flaps and propellers and retractable landing gear.
